Thank you for your interest in hosting a Book Club as part of our After Hours Events program! This is an outline of our facility’s book club policy. Please read the following policy carefully, as some changes have been made:
-To schedule a book club, the host can sign-up for a block of time at our store. We offer 2 hour book clubs slots after 6:30 pm on weekdays and after 3:30 on Saturdays. Please contact usto schedule 618.655.0355!
-There is a $15/hr rental fee for your bookclub. (This helps offset the cost of payroll/supplies/facility costs etc.)
-You may order your book club book through us for 10% off the list price. Once you know which title you would like to select, each participant can call or stop by to place their order and reserve their own copy.
- Before, during, and after your meeting all participants will be offered an additional discount for participating in AfterWords AfterHours! (The means 60% off used paperbacks, 70% off used hard covers, and all new books in-store or ordered are 20% off!)
-We will provide you with complimentary hot coffee and tea for your book club! If you would like to bring any additional drinks/food items you are more than welcome to do so. We will have seating and table arrangements set up upon your arrival.
